Happiest Birthday ever!

Once there was a girl who wished for true love, not from a Prince Charming, but from someone who will accept her for who she is and her past, "the one" that will show her the real world, make her feel butterflies in her stomach and would send fireworks when their eyes meet. It took her a long time to figure out what she wanted. She thought family and friends would fill in the loneliness and longing for a lifetime partner.

Celebrated birthdays and occasions in life with family, and friends that she thought is enough to make her happy. Though at the end of the day, alone in her room... she felt empty. Often times she questioned herself if she's capable of loving and giving love. Time passed, she realized there's no backing down in finding her destiny. She looked for signs and invested her time to search for "the One".  It was not an easy journey, she sacrificed a lot of things (too many to mention :) )

The long wait was over. On September 2016, she married the man from the other side of the world. They don't speak the same language, only the language of Love  mattered. It took a few more hurdles before they said. "I do's" and be together. But love indeed conquers all. They are now in each others arms.

Life is not a fairy tale- it's not always a happy ending, but this dear friend of mine found her happy ending. God gave her more than she could ask for. It's not perfect, everyday is a work in progress. She learned and is still learning about the real world with her "the one" .  She is a living proof that we make our own destiny - if you let things

happen.. it will happen.

P.S My friend,  though we have not spend a lot of birthdays together,  you made those years extra special. And i hope i did the same for you :) . Know that I am always here even when our hairs turn gray and all those perks of old age :) . Happy Birthday! I love you!
