Moving on..

The entertainment industry is like a circus. It is very colorful and intriguing– Of course! Anyway, I will not talk about showbiz like what's happening in the Philippine showbiz these days. But for the benefit of those who are not following the relationship hiatus of Gerald Anderson-Bea Alonzo-Julia Baretto– better google if you're interested 😄. Enough said..I will move on to writing my real story now 😍.

Our family have been kind of busy here in the Philippines. It's "kind of" because we are not really doing a lot of super fun things as of the moment since we are on a budget. It is not bad to admit that we are on a budget- who's not? maybe for those with kids can relate to us 😍. For one, we are renting a house (15k/month + utilities). Compared to our expenses in the US, it is way more affordable here in the Philippines though it is a win-win situation. Which means, you have to be more patient in dealing with over population, traffic, language barrier (for my husband and kids), and the kind of food my husband is used to 😁. Actually, it is more about my husband when it comes to food because my kids can eat fish and rice everyday like I do 😍.

The past few months have been a tough one for us (we had to go back to the US for my late mom-in-law's memorial, at the same time drove to places me and the kids have never been to). It was mixed emotions for all us to be back there after almost a year of staying here in the Philippines. I can't deny the fact that my husband is so at home because it is where he grew up. It also brought back a lot of memories, and he has to grieve for his mom's passing (we all did). It was bitter sweet. We didn't stay longer, for we have to take care of stuff in the Philippines and move on.

We came back to the Philippines with high hopes. Made plans of putting up a business and build a house we can call our own...to start a new..to move forward. But it was not easy, we had to go through hoops of finding a land and a seller that would agree to our terms. We realized that land is not as affordable as we thought it is here in the Philippines (maybe in more rural areas). Too bad, a rural area is not going to work for our business idea.

After sleepless nights of contemplating, we made up our mind as to where we would settle in the next few years before we retire....to be continued..😃
