Back to the land of milk and honey

We're back!! A few months have passed and we decided to comeback to the land of milk and honey. It was bittersweet to end our Philippines adventure for over a year though we planned to stay a little longer, but it didn't really work out the way we wanted it to be. For one, opportunities to make money was tough. Also, our business plan didn't push through because of so many factors (too many to mention). My husband is not on a pension since he's not yet on a retirement age that would mean--we are living off our savings. Anyway, our kids had so much fun (that's the most important part) they were able to meet their Filipino grandparents and other Filipino relatives.

Dharma (our eldest daughter) misses her bff back there. She learned a few Cebuano words and made friends. It is a whole new world here in America. We can't just go to a neighbor's house and let our kids play with fellow kids, not unless we have to go out of our way to make friends with them. Nevertheless, we are thankful to God for helping us in our journey and guiding us in making decisions.  To God be the Glory!
